Privacy Policy

Çetele is a mobile app that helps small shops keep track of costs, stock and production. This page explains what information is collected when you use the app, why, and what rights you have over it.

What is collected

Account details. You can sign in with Google, Apple or your e-mail address. Your e-mail address and, where provided, your name are stored. No password is used, so no password is stored. You can also use the app as a guest without signing in; a guest account holds no name or e-mail until you save it.

Your business records. The business data you enter into the app is stored:

• the business name and type
• items, products, recipes and unit costs
• purchase, production, sales, waste and stock-count records
• monthly fixed costs you enter (rent, bills, staff totals)
• supplier names and, if you enter them, phone numbers and notes

Subscription details. Çetele Pro subscriptions are handled through RevenueCat and the Apple App Store. Neither receives your name or e-mail from us; RevenueCat holds your Çetele account identifier (a random id) and the subscription status, and reports changes to our server so the right businesses are unlocked. We keep these subscription events, and the dates of any free Pro period we grant, on our server. We also record when a business first saw the free-record countdown, the Pro lock and the Pro screen; no amounts or record contents are included.

Contacts. If you choose to add a supplier from your phone's contacts, only the name and number of the one person you pick is saved. Your contact list is never uploaded.

Crash reports. When the app crashes or fails, a technical report (device model, operating system version, app version and the error itself) may be sent to Sentry so the problem can be fixed. These reports contain no business records, names or e-mail addresses.

Not collected. No advertising identifiers, location, photos or usage analytics are collected.

About supplier details

Supplier names and phone numbers are stored only under your business and shown only to the people you invite to it. By entering them you confirm you are allowed to.

What the information is used for

Only to make the app work: showing you your costs, stock and figures, keeping your records in sync across your devices and your team, and fixing faults. Nothing is used for marketing, sold, or shared with third parties beyond the service providers listed below.

• Supabase – database, sign-in and file storage (servers in the EU)
• Apple and Google – sign-in
• RevenueCat – subscription status
• Sentry – crash reports
• Cloudflare Turnstile – bot protection on guest sign-in

Where the data is kept

In a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase in the European Union, protected by row-level security rules so that each business's data is visible only to its members.

How long it is kept

Until you delete it or close your account. When an account is deleted, its data is removed immediately and cleared from backups within 30 days. A guest account that is never saved and not used for 30 days is removed automatically.

Deleting your account and data

Open More → Account → Delete account in the app, or write to emrbaris@gmail.com. Deleting the account removes your business and all its records.

Your rights

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the GDPR you can ask to see the data held about you, correct it, delete it, or receive it in a portable form. Requests to emrbaris@gmail.com are answered within 30 days.

Children

Çetele is not intended for anyone under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters to you, the app will tell you. The date at the top shows the latest version.
